I extend a warm invitation to join us for a weekend entirely devoted to mastering the art of fun fold cards at the Summer Fun Fold Stamping Weekend Retreat.
Staying at St. Andrews Retreat Center in Union, Washington, with crafting friends promises a uniquely warm and creatively enriching experience. The centerpiece of this retreat is The Lodge, a stunning traditional log cabin-style building exuding rustic charm and elegance. As you step inside, you’re greeted by the inviting ambiance of elegant hardwood floors, the warmth of a massive stone hearth, and the comforting scent of wood.
The Lodge’s design, with two oak staircases leading to an overhanging balcony and two bedroom wings, creates an atmosphere of intimacy and shared connection. With 20 beds available in 12 rooms, some shared and others single, there’s ample space for everyone to unwind and recharge. What sets this retreat apart is its all-inclusive nature – from delectable meals crafted from locally-sourced ingredients to a bounty of crafting supplies awaiting your creative touch, every need is anticipated and catered to.
Picture evenings spent gathered on the front porch overlooking the Hood Canal, sipping wine, exchanging stories and laughter, or mornings filled with the collective hum of artistic expression as friends embark on collaborative projects. Whether you’re seeking solace in nature’s embrace or the camaraderie of shared experiences, St. Andrews Retreat Center offers an unparalleled opportunity to bond, create, and rejuvenate with friends amidst the tranquil beauty of Union, Washington.

ACCOMODATIONS
The Lodge – Small & Cozy, Right Where We Craft
The Lodge is a charming log home with annexes and is where we gather and craft throughout the retreat. It’s small and cozy — more like staying in a welcoming home than a hotel. Rooms feature twin beds (except the downstairs ADA rooms), linens and towels are provided, and guests make their own beds upon arrival. If you love being right where the action is and stepping straight from your room into the crafting space, the Lodge is the place to stay.
✨ Only 20 beds available in the Lodge — this will be an intimate, small-group retreat experience.
Callison House – A Peaceful Three-Minute Walk Away
The Callison House is located just a pleasant three-minute walk from the Lodge and offers a slightly more private, spacious setting. With only eight beds in the home, it feels quieter and more tucked away while still being fully connected to the retreat. Some beds in the Callison House are double size or larger, and bathrooms are located within the home and shared among guests. The walk between buildings takes you past the gardens and labyrinth, making it a peaceful part of the retreat rhythm.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What should I bring to the event?
I would bring minimal crafting supplies as most everything you need is provided. All project supplies are provided for except for the following:
1) Acrylic blocks for stamping
2) I supply Liquid Glue, Glue Dots, and Dimensionals
3) Your favorite pair of scissors
What are the rooms like?
We have two downstairs hotel-style rooms with full bathrooms. Upstairs all the rooms share bathrooms. I have a few single rooms, one three-person room, and most are double rooms.
Can I stay an extra day?
Yes, Thursday is an option, but this year, it is different. 3 Meals are included this year, from Thursday night dinner to lunch on Friday afternoon for $155
I already have the Retreat Stamp Set?”
Great. When you register, you will be asked if you would like to substitute for another stamp set
What is the MarketPlace?
My experience from past events has been that some guests like to take their time and not be rushed (that’s me). I’ve designed the event so you can complete included technique projects without being rushed. However, some stay up late or quickly complete the projects, so I created the MarketPlace. The MarketPlace is where top paper crafting designers will offer projects to be completed that are more detailed projects (or just plain cute), ranging from cards to gift giving. This is your opportunity to craft amazing projects with the designer on hand to help guide you and answer questions. These projects are optional. The prices and themes will vary, generally between $1 to $25. MarketPlace projects are not included in the retreat price
Is my registration/ticket transferable?
You are available to transfer your registration to someone else or have the projects mailed to you.[/toggle]
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope, it’s not necessary.
What is the refund policy?
Due to the nature of this intimate event, details are planned and personalized far in advance for each of our guests, so all deposits and payments are 100% non-refundable past the 60 days to event start. The registration fees are invested to secure your spot and to order the supplies. You can transfer the registration to another person. In the unlikely event the retreat is canceled by the organizer because of weather or illness, we will have the option to attend a rescheduled event or have the kit mailed to you.
What if I have a food allergy?
Special assistance is available for individuals with specific dietary needs, including diabetics and vegetarians. There is a mini refrigerator in the Conference Room. Please let me know in the notes section when you register if you have specific dietary needs.
I have a mobility challenge, can I still attend?
Yes, you can. You can participate in as much or as little as you like; there are no requirements. The retreat building has limited ADA rooms on the ground floor, and meals are served in the same building. We will make it a priority to accommodate.
What meals are included?
Meals are served buffet-style at set times—either in our cozy dining area or out on the deck with a view (yes, please!).
Included are:
🍽️ Friday: Dinner
🍽️ Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
🍽️ Sunday: Breakfast
If you’re joining us for the Thursday add-on, lucky you! You’ll also enjoy Thursday dinner, plus Friday breakfast and lunch to kick things off in delicious style. 😋

You really don’t need to bring much—I’ll have almost everything prepped and ready for you. But to make sure you’re totally set, here’s what you should pack:
1) Your trusty crafting toolkit – Think: bone folder, scissors, Take Your Pick tool, Stampin’ Seal or Seal+, and any other adhesives you love.
2) Clear blocks – Especially sizes B and C to go with your retreat stamp set.
3) If you ordered a Stamp Set substitution: Pretty Florals Photopolymer Stamp Set (Item #165177)
I’ll be supplying the essentials like Multipurpose Glue, Dimensionals, and Mini Glue Dots, so no need to lug those.
Optional – For the Overachievers & Tool-Lovers 😄
I’ve got all the supplies you’ll need for the weekend, but if you’re the type who loves your own tools or just likes being extra prepared, feel free to bring anything from the supply list below!
