I’m thrilled to extend a special invitation to join me at my handmade holiday crafting retreat, designed to help you prepare for the upcoming festive season. Because we believe that handmade gifts are filled with love, this retreat is dedicated to crafting heartfelt creations that will make this holiday season truly memorable.

At the Handmade Holiday Weekend Retreat, creativity meets tranquility amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Oregon coast at Twin Rocks Friends Camp. Nestled in the serene Pacific Northwest, this retreat offers a perfect escape for stamping enthusiasts seeking inspiration and relaxation.

As you arrive at the retreat, you’re greeted by the soothing sounds of the ocean waves and the crisp scent of pine trees. The rustic charm of the campgrounds, matched with the hotel-style lodging and craft room, sets the stage for a truly immersive crafting experience.

Throughout the retreat, participants are invited to explore a variety of stamping projects and techniques, from basic to advanced, guided by people passionate about sharing their knowledge. Our crafting room is in a spacious, well-lit studio equipped with all the tools and materials to bring your creative visions to life.

In addition to trainings, the retreat also provides ample opportunity for free-flowing creativity. Whether you prefer to work independently or collaborate with fellow stampers, you’ll find ample space and inspiration to unleash your imagination.

Remember to take advantage of the camp’s amenities and outdoor activities. Stroll along the sandy shores of Rockaway Beach, embark on a scenic hike through the surrounding forests, go for a canoe ride, or unwind with a book in your room or at the Coffee Shop.

Saturday evenings at the retreat are filled with camaraderie and relaxation. Gather around a crackling campfire under the starlit sky, where stories are shared, friendships are forged, Smores are enjoyed, and creativity continues to flourish.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should I bring to the event?
I would bring minimal crafting supplies as almost everything you need is provided. All project supplies are provided except for the following:
1) Acrylic blocks for stamping or Stamp Positioner Tool like the Stamparatus or Misti
2) Your favorite craft adhesive (I supply Liquid Glue, Glue Dots, and Dimensionals)
3) Your favorite pair of scissors.

What are the rooms like?
We have 16 hotel-style rooms downstairs with full bathrooms, each with a Queen bed and a bunk

Can I stay an extra day?
Yes, Thursday is an option. It includes lodging, taxes, breakfast and lunch on Friday.  

I already have the Retreat Stamp Set?”
Great. When you register, you will be asked if you would like to substitute for another stamp set from the Annual Catalog 2025 or online store. If you already own the retreat stamp set and will be bringing it to the retreat, you can request a substitution.

What is the MarketPlace?
My experience from past events has been that some guests like to take their time and not be rushed (that’s me). I’ve designed the event so you’ll be able to complete included projects without being rushed. However, some stay up late or quickly complete the projects, so I created the MarketPlace. The MarketPlace is where top paper crafting designers will offer projects to be completed that are more detailed projects (or just plain cute), ranging from cards to gift giving. This is your opportunity to craft amazing projects with the designer on hand to help guide you and answer questions. These projects are optional. The prices and themes will vary, generally between $1 to $15. MarketPlace projects are not included in the retreat price 

What is the Full Card Swap about?

Ready to share your creativity and be inspired by others? Our Full Card Swap is the perfect way to exchange ideas, see new techniques, and collect amazing samples to take home!

How to Participate:
✨ Plan on bringing 15–20 completed full-size cards.
✨ Use ONLY current Stampin’ Up! catalog products or Online Exclusives. (No retired/discontinued items, kits, or Paper Pumpkin.)
✨ Make it special! Plan on at least 2 layers plus an embellishment. Fun folds and techniques are encouraged!
✨ Do NOT stamp or write on the back. Instead, include a separate card or post-it with your name and details.
✨ Helpful: Place each card in a clear envelope or cello bag for protection.
✨ Helpful: Bring your swaps in a bag so you can easily take your new cards home in it.

After the swap, you’ll receive a fabulous assortment of cards created by fellow swappers—a perfect way to gather fresh ideas, admire everyone’s talent, and bring home ready-to-go inspiration for your customers and classes!

Is my registration/ticket transferable?
You can transfer your registration to someone else or mail the projects to you.

Would you like me to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope, it’s not necessary.

What is the refund policy?
Due to the nature of this intimate event, details are planned and personalized far in advance for each of our guests, so all deposits and payments are 100% non-refundable past the 60 days before the event starts. The registration fees are invested to secure your spot and to order the supplies. You can transfer the registration to another person. In the unlikely event that the organizer cancels the retreat because of weather or illness, you can attend a rescheduled event or receive a partial refund and have all the kit supplies mailed to you. 

What if I have a food allergy?
Special assistance is available for individuals with specific dietary needs, including diabetics and vegetarians. There is a mini refrigerator in the Conference Room. Please let me know in the notes section when you register if you have specific dietary needs.

I have a mobility challenge; can I still attend?
Yes, you can. You can participate in as much or as little as you like; there are no requirements. The retreat building has limited ADA rooms on the ground floor. Meals are served in another building that you can drive or walk to. I will make it a priority to accommodate you.

What meals are included?
Meals are served buffet-style at set times—in a dining area in another building

If you’re joining us for the Thursday add-on, YAY you! You’ll also enjoy Friday breakfast and lunch to kick things off in delicious style. 😋

What to Bring for Maximum Fun & Crafty Success?

You really don’t need to bring much—I’ll have almost everything prepped and ready for you. But to make sure you’re totally set, here’s what you should pack:

1) Your trusty crafting toolkit – Think: bone folder, scissors, Take Your Pick tool, Stampin’ Seal or Seal+, and any other adhesives you love.

2) Clear blocks – Especially sizes B and C to go with your retreat stamp set.

3) If you ordered a Stamp Set substitution:  bring the Jolly Holly Photopolymer Stamp Set (Item #166117)

I’ll be supplying the essentials like Multipurpose Glue, Dimensionals, and Mini Glue Dots, so no need to lug those.

I’ve got all the supplies you’ll need for the weekend, but if you’re the type who loves your own tools or just likes being extra prepared. I’ll provide a list about a week out from the retreat for you here!
